  Hi, let me try to explain my case on the pic.

  I have set up the following template

  As you could see there are there groups: project, firm and position.

  The main issue I have faced is that firm names are not unique. That is why I have used (G=List) for firms, but in this case I have lost the price aggregation by the firm, there is the miss (“-”). If I specify (G=Merge) in firm cell then the aggregation result will be correct. Unfortunately, I cannot do that as firm name is not uniq but firm id is. Could I use firm id as context of grouping but show the name in the excel cell, e.g. in some way of `{{proposal.firms.name (C=proposal.firm.id, G=Merge, R=B2:F3)}}?

  Hello, thank you for advice.

  Please, could you clarify why you are using

  (RANGE=A2)

  , instead of

  (CONTEXT=A2)

  in the highlighted cell?
  
  Is there a way without hidden rows or columns? Why can’t we specify context by data source field, e.g.

  (CONTEXT=proposal.firms.id)

  , that are not presented in the cells, can we?

  Hi,

  Apologize for the delay and for putting the Reference in E3 cell.

  1. There is no need to set a Reference here. The Cell E3 has context to the E2 and it will be followed by the E2 cell context. Hence, the value of cell E3 can be: {{==Sum(E2)}}.

  Please refer the attached updated sample: JsonFile_DataTemplate_Mod.zip

  2. We are sorry to inform you that Context doesn’t works like that. Context is considered by the cell range not from a property from data source. To achieve this requirement, you can hide the column/row just like our previous solution.
