GanttView - Remove predecessor

    Hi,

I have a few tasks connected by predecessor arrows, but I’m not able to remove these arrows with a manual intervention on the GanttView chart: I’ve tried moving the arrow, clicking on the connection circles, right-clicking, selecting the arrow and then pressing the Del button, and so on, but nothing seems to work.

    What am I missing?

    Thank you!

    HI,

The devs are curious about the use case. Could you please explain more about the use case and why exactly you want to remove the arrow by UI?. Please share this information so that devs could have a better understanding of the issue and help you accordingly.

    Hi,

in our scenario we have tasks with predecessors that must be executed before (i.e: “building the wall” must be completed before “painting the wall”), and the arrow is a perfect representation for this relationship.

The users who update the gantt chart interactively should be able to establish these relationships manually through the chart, and thus should be able to “change their mind” during the process, deleting an arrow, or changing its destination to another task, to update the “predecessors chain”.

I hope my explanation makes sense to you…

    Thank you, regards
