  Hi,

  I was woundering if there’s any way to speed up the loading time of GrapeCity.ActiveReports dlls when debugging in visualstudio 2022 for .net webform application. We use version 16.2.0.0. There’s 67 dlls that take over 30sec simply to load as show in the picture.

  We have descent PCs
  
  - Processor : Intel(R) Core™ i7-10510U CPU @ 1.80GHz 2.30 GHz
  
  - RAM : 32,0 Go
  
  - Harddrive SSD with plenty space.

  Since we never debug them, there’s a way to put them in cache/gac? There’s any version of activereport that is package in 1 dll? Most of the wasted time seems to be added because there’s many small dlls.

  Hi Jean-François,

  Unfortunately, we haven’t heard of this issue before, we have similar specs to your machine Processor: i7 11th Gen and Ram: 16 GBs, however, this issue does not seem to replicate in our older ActiveReports 16 or latest ActiveReports 18.

  This issue seems specific to your machine, could you try upgrading to ActiveReports 18 and see if the issue persists?

  If the issue persists please try sharing a sample of your project that replicates the issue so we can test the same on our end and further investigate the same.

  Hi Anand,

  Thank you for your quick reply. It took me a while because I’ve made plenty of tests and it apears to linked to Windows Defender antivirus. We excluded the following process and deployment/loading of the dlls was very fast :

  visualstudio : devenv.exe
  
  IIS : C:\Program Files\IIS Express\iisexpress.exe
  
  VisualStudio : C:\Program Files\Microsoft Visual Studio\2022\Professional\Common7\IDE\Microsoft.VisualStudio.Web.Host.exe
