    Hi,

Our customers are complaining that when they click on the preview button with new active reports version 4.2 where the parameters above the report nothing is displaying and they are seeing an i beside the dropdown. On investigation they are not clicking off the control before they click on preview. Is it possible to change this so that when they click off the control that the dropdown closes or if it stays open that the report displays?

Also with 100% screen resolution cannot get control to disappear. Have to change resolution to 90% to be able to switch away from control.

    Hi Damien,

    >> Our customers are complaining that when they click on the preview button with new active reports version 4.2 where the parameters above the report nothing is displaying and they are seeing an i beside the dropdown.

We could not replicate this issue at our end using ActiveReportsJS v4.2.2. The Preview button works after values are selected for the multivalued parameter control without clicking off the control. Please see the attached screenshare video for reference.

Unfortunately, we could not replicate this issue at our end either. We tested with different screen resolutions but could not replicate the issue on our end as the parameter controls are working as expected. We could also not observe any overlapping of controls. Could you please either edit the attached sample or send us a new one reproducing the issue so that we may investigate it further?

    Hi Damien,

You may download ActiveReportsJS v4.2.2 from here: Download ActiveReportsJS v4.2.2

If the issue persists in the latest version, please hover over the error message and share with us the screenshot of the error that you are getting on the top of the dropdown control, along with a sample replicating the same, so that we may investigate further.

Thanks for that. I have just realised this is only happening on our website and not when I try to replicate the issue in designer. Just wondering if you have any thoughts on whether we might need to install new version of @grapecity react code on server or any other reasons code might be behaving like this on website?

    Hi Damien,

Upon retesting the problem on our end, we found that the controls do not overlap at display resolutions of 1280x720 and higher, with the browser resolution set to 100%. To prevent control overlap, it is advised to use a display resolution of 1280x720 or higher.

    We hope this helps!
