GrapeCity makes Top 5 List as most interesting at TechEd 2011!!!
It was one heck of a week in Atlanta! SD Times has GrapeCity on their top 5 list , as many did, after visiting our incredible booth. We had Chef Anton doing card and pool tricks, Celebrity Signings for the .NET Gurus Can Cook, Russ Cam videos and some incredible product demonstrations by several in attendance from GrapeCity. It was non-stop action. Also, Russ Fustino had double duty between the GrapeCity booth and, as an industry expert, working at the Microsoft Phone 7 booth. Verizon announced the Phone 7 HTC Trophy will be available online at www.verizonwireless.com on May 26. Several Russ Cam videos were taken at TechEd, look for more episodes and blog entries to come!
We started the week out at the INETA Community Leadership Summit, where Scott Hanselman delivered a key wrap up message to those in attendance…. blog more. “Blogging is about what you think. Twitter is about what you are doing”. He stated that blogs are the best way to provide feedback to Microsoft, as that is what they look for first, above email, twitter and forums. It was a great talk and Scott deserves kudos for sharing this refreshing view (note to Scott’s boss ). It was great catching up with Greg Leonardo, Daniel Egan, Chris Pels, Suzanna Moran, Kevin Schuler, Kevin Remde, Chris Woody Woodruff, and many others. Hats off to Joseph Guadagno the INETA crew… awesome event!
Scott Hanselman is shown here after seeing his .NET Gurus Can Cook book for the first time, with his Sweet Diabeetus Potatoes recipe.
In the evening several attended the INETA Influencer Party on a roof top! it was an incredible view and interesting conversation to say the least. It was great to see Jim Zimmerman, Nikita Polyakov, Brian Noyes, Miguel Castro, Omar Villarreal, Brain Goldfarb, Jim Wooley, Joshua Trupin, Chad Miller, Steve Smith and many more!

Here are a few shots of the GrapeCity Team setting up the booth on Sunday morning.
GrapeCity’s Scott Shorter, as usual, working hard.
