ActiveAnalysis Script 8 – Documentation Tips

1) To access help content online… navigate to http://www.gcpowertoools.com
2) Select Support | Documentation This page has links to all of GrapeCity’s component documentation. Click on ActiveAnalysis Documentation:
3) You will see several “how to” topics in the User Guide:
Help can be also accessed locally or within Visual Studio too.
4) From the start menu, select GrapeCity | ActiveAnalysis | GrapeCity ActiveAnalysis Documentation.
5) If the documentation does not appear and you see the following screen, this happens because the Help Library agent has not been started already prior to clicking on the above link in start menu...
6) To fix this, for any local help file used in Visual Studio, from start menu… go to VS 2010 | Visual Studio Tools. Click on the Manage Help Settings ENU.
7) Click on 'Choose local or online help'.
8) Then select ‘I want to use local help’, and select OK.
9) Now select ‘ Install content from disk’ and Navigate to ActiveAnalysis install directory and select the msha file.
10) Click Add and press Update
11) Once that is done, you can go to the start menu and click on the link and it will work. Once again, this happens because the Help Library agent has not been started already prior to clicking on that link in start menu…Note, in addition to the Class Library documentation, there is a User Guide and a Developer Guide.
12) Documentation is also integrated Within Visual Studio, select Help | View Help
