Announcing the A2 Framework

It is only fitting that I am at MIX in Vegas while writing this announcement. There have been some incredible announcements made here in Las Vegas. The next web is fast approaching as Microsoft is really reinventing their web development platform for the future. So now for ComponentOne's big MIX unveiling...

We have been working hard to shift gears in our AJAX controls. We have built a framework called the A2 Framework which is short for ASP.NET AJAX, or Amazingly Awesome, its still up for debate. This framework aligns perfectly with all of the announcements you have heard at MIX because at its core is a pure client framework rooted in web standards, developed with jQuery and AJAX4 an extended in ASP.NET. The A2 framework is built for any flavor of web development. Whether you are a jQuery guru or a WebForms master, this framework is geared for you.

You will see a lot of fire on our ASP.NET AJAX branding now. The reason is that we literally set this studio on fire. There is no better way to let everyone know how new and cutting edge this framework is than to pour gas on it and start the blaze. We are really exited about the new Studio for ASP.NET AJAX and hope everyone takes notice. Feel free to use this badge anywhere you are using the new A2 Framework.
