What Happened to FarPoint Spread?

So what did happen to FarPoint Spread?

Absolutely nothing 😊.

If you’re reading this post, chances are you’re looking for one of our older Spread or FarPoint products. As you may know, FarPoint was acquired by GrapeCity back in 2009. Since then, we no longer use the FarPoint Spread name. It’s now simply GrapeCity Spread.NET for our flexible Excel-like .NET spreadsheet components and SpreadJS, our JavaScript spreadsheet components.

What about the older FarPoint Spread versions, can I still get them?

They are still available, depending on what version you used.

FarPoint Spread/VBX and Spread/VBX++

These were our original VBX products. The last VBX version was back in the mid 1990’s.

FarPoint Spread COM

FarPoint Spread COM is the COM version of Spread. It is still available for purchase today and the current version is Spread COM 8.

FarPoint Spread and Windows Forms and FarPoint Spread for ASP.NET

These are currently available in our Spread.NET product.

FarPoint Spread for BizTalk

This product has been discontinued and is no longer available.

SpreadJS

The current version of our SpreadJS JavaScript spreadsheet.

FarPoint Tab Pro, Input Pro, List Pro, Calendar Objx, Button Objx

These are all older versions and no longer maintained.
