Designed to enhance the rich user experience of Windows 8, Studio for WinRT XAML gives you powerful and unique controls for building better Windows Store apps. The studio was available as CTP since mid-August, and it will be officially released as part of the 2012 v3 release of Studio Enterprise (in about three weeks from today). Today we are releasing the Beta update which introduces several new controls and enhancements. We are also introducing activation and licensing (pre-sale) so you can get up and running with your apps today without delay.

Now Available with a ‘Go Live’ license

The Beta version now has license activation required in order to publish apps to the market place. So you will need to activate your license on the machine in which you develop and publish from. If you do not have a Studio Enterprise license, you can get Studio for WinRT XAML alone at our special introductory price of just $395.00 until the end of the year!
