Pittsburgh Code Camp 2010.2 Wrap-up
The Pittsburgh .NET User Group and University of Pittsburgh hosted approximately 160 developers on October 16. ComponentOne was very pleased to be part of our hometown's Code Camp. As in years past, the speaker lineup was very good, with attendees and speakers coming from all around the region. Thank you to all the attendees who made the trip, and thank you to the speakers for giving of your time to help the community. It was nice to make some new friends (see you at CMAP Code Camp, Buck Dunn, and I hope John Baird and company have fun in Fairfield) and to reconnect with other friends like Dane Morgridge and Joel Cochran.
Shortly after we got the table set up, Jamie Schultz stops by and shows off his socks from Code Camp 2010.1. Looking good, Jamie!
Here are Steve Basl and Greg Lutz, manning the ComponentOne table. Nicky Bleiel and myself were also available throughout the day. ComponentOne contributed five talks to the effort, including Nicky's cool talk about how we automate our documentation from XML comments using Doc-to-Help and Sandcastle.
Congratulations to Anna Abovyan, who won her choice of a ComponentOne studio in our raffle!
Kudos for another great event are due to Dave Hoerster, Eric Kepes, John Hidey and John Sterrett, and a big thanks needs to be given to the University of Pittsburgh's Computer Science Department for opening Sennott Square to us for the day.
