ActiveReports Script 10 – Summary, Resources and Thoughts

Resources:

After reading this multi-part blog series on ActiveReports, do you want to watch a video about it now? Well it just so happens that we recorded a live RussCamTV session at MADExpo 2011. It’s a great video (ahem… if I must say so myself). In this video, we will review everything that we have learned in this 10 part blog series on ActiveReports! How’s that?

My Thoughts:

Mostly everywhere I go, I run into customers that have used our components. Not only have they used them, they love them and are very passionate about it! The products are tried and true with continued innovations and new user community! What does GrapeCity stand for? As it is explained in the ActiveReports Power Session Video above, ‘Grape’ has worldwide recognition and is a fruit of the vine. ‘City’ represents stability. So, there you have it… GrapeCity represents Growth and Stability. I could not have picked a better name for a company which acquired DataDynamics and FarPoint.

I have been here at GrapeCity for about a year now. I have walked the halls of the GrapeCity PowerTools office in Morrisville, NC. There are still plenty of folks that really care about these products. It is very refreshing family atmosphere and a great group of folks. You will be hearing more from them on @grapecity twitter and the GrapeCity PowerTools Facebook Page.

And… I haven’t even mentioned videos yet! Our Video staff is second to none and I can’t tell you how many times I heard that they do ‘incredible work’ by viewers. I’ll tell you one thing, they really make me look good… or is it good looking? J Check out Http://gvtv.gcpoertools.com for all of our videos on Russ Cam™, ActiveReports ™, ActiveAnalysis™ and Spread™ . Also, check out our GrapeVine weekly update on ‘What’s coming down the Grapevine’ video series hosted by GrapeCity’s Director of Sales and Support, Keith May. Look for it every Monday…Roger and Tommy will be very happy. Press the Like Button of the videos, and they might come out to film you on a future RussCam Episode. J

Please feel free to blog about our products and send me your link to Russell.fustino@grapecity.com . As a thank you, I will send you a .Net Gurus Cook Book – Volume 1 and I will also send you Volume 2, which is underway and due out in June at TechEd 2012. (Plus, I need a few more blogs about our products for my final quarter of review time J )

We captured some great passion on our products from many customers at many of the GrapeCity Sponsored Application Developer conferences including:

  • User groups

  • Bar camps

  • Code camps

  • SQL Saturdays

  • IT Pro Camps

  • INETA’s 10th birthday coming up in February.
