ComponentOne sponsors SQL Saturday 192 in Tampa : Recap
It was one of the best line up of speakers I have seen yet at a SQL Saturday. Hats of to organizer Pam Shaw who knocked this one out of the park this past Saturday. We had a new venue this year at Hillsborough Community College in the heart of Ybor City! With 300 registrations, the place was a buzz all day, with non stop traffic at the C1 booth. I did a session on Building a Windows app from scratch and highlighting a few of the C1 WinRT XAML Controls, which packed the room. One gentleman told me it was the best session he attended of the day. I am guessing we had about 50 percent developers at this conference, as is usually the case, based on a poll in my closing remarks. it was great to catch up with Rodney Landrum, Bonnie Allard, Mike Wells, Richie Rump, Andy Warren and a host of others in a very vibrant SQL Community. The speaker dinner was excellent once again at the Spaghetti Warehouse with their famous 15 layer lasagna. The post event was awesome on 7th in Ybor, how could that be bad, huh?
