Public Event AfterSort As SortColEventHandler
public event SortColEventHandler AfterSort
Event Data
The event handler receives an argument of type SortColEventArgs containing data related to this event. The following SortColEventArgs properties provide information specific to this event.
Property | Description |
---|---|
Cancel | Gets or sets a value indicating whether the drag operation should be canceled. |
Col | Gets the column that is being sorted. |
Handled | Gets or sets a value indicating whether the drag operation has been handled by the event handler. |
Order | Gets or sets a SortFlags value that determines the sorting order. |
Remarks
This event only fires if the sorting was caused by a click on a column header cell (see the AllowSorting property). It does not fire after sorting with the Sort(SortFlags,Int32) method.
This event is useful if you want to update user interface elements to reflect the new sorting. To prevent certain columns from being sorted, or to alter their default sorting order, use the Column.AllowSorting or handle the BeforeSort event.
