This set of release notes includes enhancements from the previous release, resolved issues and version details.

Enhancements from the Previous Release

This version of the product has the following enhancements from the previous release:

• Spread for WinForms now allows you to use NumberFormat property to support the column footer format in flat style.

• Users can now add the Data Table formula to a range of cells using DataTable method.

• Users can now use the goal seek feature for what-if analysis in worksheets.

• Users can now set the width of the line between the frozen and non-frozen areas of the worksheet using FrozenLineThickness option.

• Spread for WinForms now supports the “Center Across Selection” horizontal alignment option.

• Users can now have historical time-based data and predicted values using Forecast dialog.

• Spread for WinForms provides the feature to remove duplicate values in a range.

• The existing IMAGE function is now renamed as GC.IMAGE and the new IMAGE function in Spread.NET will allow the user to insert an image into a cell from the source location.

• Worksheet protection is now extended to display variety of password protection and lock options displayed in the Protect Sheet dialog.

• The PictureEffectType enumeration provides values for different types of artistic effects.

• Spread for WinForms now supports rich text editing that lets user input RichText directly from Spread.

• Users can now use the Insert Function dialog box to insert the correct formula and arguments in cells.

• Users can now fill the comment block with gradient effects or manipulate it via the Fill Effects dialog.

• User can now Copy/Paste multi-range by setting RichClipboard property and format multi-range using format cell dialog.

• Users can add replies to the comments in the Spread UI using threaded comment in UI.

• Spread for WinForms now supports the Text to Columns feature that allows you to parse the text of one cell into many columns using delimiter.

• Spread for WinForms now exposes a new BuiltInDialogs class that allows you to open built-in dialogs at runtime.

• Spread for WinForms now supports new text and array functions.

• Spread for WinForms now supports all new Forecast functions.

Resolved Issues

The following issues have been resolved since the last release.

• FontSizeChanged event is updated to fit the content automatically with row height when the user changes settings using UI.

• Fixed error message in exported Excel file.

• Fixed the issue where copying a row and pasting it into a row containing locked cells.

• Fixed the issue to type Korean vowels normally.

• Fixed the performance issue while loading XLSX files.

• Fixed the issue where applying "[$-ko-KR]mmm" to a cell format, displayed it in English abbreviations.

• Fixed the issue where the EditModeStarting event could not be fired after starting editing.

• XML is now working correctly while opening XML using Open() method on a form.

• Fixed the performance of Workbookset.Calculate() method.

• Fixed the issue where license file was generated incorrectly when using the build configuration name with whitespace characters.

• Fixed an issue where setting horizontal scroll using events resulted in bidirectional scrolling.

• Fixed an issue where the “Merge cells” checkbox in the Alignment tab of the Format cells dialog was disabled.

• Fixed the issue where the value of the DataField property was lost after upgrading from v13 to v15.

• The “RecalculateAll” method now works correctly independent of the AutoCalculation value.

• Fixed the delay that occurs after calling the PrintSheet() method.

• [Designer] Fixed the issue where the Spread Designer did not appear normally while using multiple monitors, when loading for the first time.

• [Designer] Korean name of Sparkline is now properly shown.

• Excel files can be loaded without any exception when using BackgroundWorker class to show progress indicator.
