DOLLARFR
This function converts a decimal number dollar price to a fraction dollar price.
Syntax
DOLLARFR(decimaldollar, fraction)
Arguments
This function has these arguments:
Argument | Description |
|---|---|
decimaldollar | [Required] Decimal number |
fraction | [Required] Denominator of the fraction; if not an integer, the number is truncated |
Remarks
If fraction is not an integer, it is truncated.
If fraction is less than 0, a #NUM! error is returned.
If fraction is 0, a #DIV/0! error is returned.
Examples
DOLLARFR(B5,D2)
DOLLARFR(R5C2,R2C4)
DOLLARFR(1.125,16) gives the result 1.02
