LOWER

This function converts text to lower case letters.

Syntax

LOWER(string)

Arguments

[Required] The argument is the text you want to convert to lower case. This function does not change characters in value that are not letters. The argument may be a string, a reference to a cell containing a string, or a formula that returns a string.

LOWER(R4C1)

LOWER("Road Race 2") gives the result road race 2
