Effects

Effect tools are a set of tools or functions that enable you to apply effects to the images, such as Brightness, Contrast, Vibrance, Blur, and Pixelate. DsImageViewer provides PaintToolsPlugin that adds the Effects button (effects-tools-icon) to the toolbar.

brightness-contrast-icon

Brightness/Contrast

The Brightness/Contrast button applies brightness, contrast, or both effects to the whole image or selected region.

Brightness modifies the overall lightness of an image by adjusting the intensity of each pixel's color channels, whereas contrast modifies the difference between light and dark areas in an image by adjusting pixel values' intensity, creating clearer separation between elements.

vibrance-icon

The Vibrance button applies vibrance effect to the whole image or selected region.

Vibrance adjusts and enhances the intensity of all the colors in an image except the most saturated colors, and it also protects the skin tones of your image.
