Evaluation License

When you download and install ComponentOne Edition as evaluation from the MESCIUS website or through the NuGet gallery, a trial key is installed on your machine and the controls operate under trial period for 30 days. The trial key works for all ComponentOne products as it's essentially a Studio Enterprise key that expires in 30 days.

After the trial expires, if you still want to evaluate the controls then you may request for an extended trial key from our sales team. You must activate the extended trial key using the MESCIUS License Manager tool.

Notes:

If you discover our controls from NuGet the trial key is installed by NuGet package script. You may see a message that the controls are not licensed.
When you discover and install a ComponentOne control from the NuGet Gallery, it will automatically install a 30-day trial key upon application build. You can see how many days remain in your trial by installing and launching the MESCIUS License Manager (GCLM.exe).
