GetRowByKey

Gets the client-side row index for the specified server-side row index.

Syntax

[JavaScript]

var ret = FpSpread1.GetRowByKey(FPKey);

Parameters

FPKey

Integer, index of the server-side row key (Spread control's row index)

Return Type

Integer, index of the client-side row

Remarks

This method returns the index of the row based on the Spread key. The key is based on the entire row count (0 to rowcount -1). There may be multiple pages or tables and each page might have a subset of the total row count. This method gives you the row number based on the unique Spread key.

Example

This is a sample that contains the method. On the client side, the script that contains the method would look like this:
