Starts edit mode for one row when the edit template is enabled.

Remarks

Starts edit mode for one row when the edit template is enabled. The Developer’s Guide has more information about creating row edit templates. This method causes a postback. If the row parameter is null, the active cell is put in edit mode.

Example

This is a sample that contains the method. On the client side, the script that contains the method would look like this:
