    Margin Property (Cell)
    In This Topic
    Gets or sets the settings of the cell margins that define the space between the cell border and the cell contents, for the four sides of the cell.
    Syntax
    'Declaration

    Public Property Margin As Inset
    'Usage

    Dim instance As Cell
    Dim value As Inset

    instance.Margin = value

    value = instance.Margin
    public Inset Margin {get; set;}

    Property Value

    Inset object containing the margins for the contents of this cell
    Remarks

    This property sets the distance between the cell border and the cell contents on all four sides of the cell. It defines the margins around the cell.

    HTML tables can specify a padding for the cells in the table using the CELLPADDING attribute of the TABLE tag. The cell padding specifies how much space there is between borders and contents of a cell. The padding or margins are set using the Inset object.

    The setting for this property can be overridden if a named style is assigned to the cell using the StyleName property, and that named style sets the margins.

    To set the cell spacing, which is the spacing between table cells, refer to the CellSpacing property for the sheet.

    Example
    This example creates a Cell object, marks the cell as locked and positions the text in the cell using the Margin property. The height of the row is adjusted so the position of the text can be readily seen.
    FarPoint.Web.Spread.Cell mycell;
    FarPoint.Web.Spread.Inset margin=new FarPoint.Web.Spread.Inset(20,40,50,20);
    mycell=FpSpread1.Cells[0,0];
    mycell.Value="Margin";
    mycell.Locked=true;
    mycell.Margin=margin;
    FpSpread1.ActiveSheetView.Rows[0].Height=80;
    Dim mycell As FarPoint.Web.Spread.Cell
    Dim margin As New FarPoint.Web.Spread.Inset(20,40,50,20)
    mycell=FpSpread1.Cells(0,0)
    mycell.Value="Margin"
    mycell.Locked=True
    mycell.Margin=margin
    FpSpread1.ActiveSheetView.Rows(0).Height=80
