    GeneralThe number is converted to the most compact of either fixed-point or scientific notation.
    HexadecimalThe number is converted to a string of hexadecimal digits.
    NumberThe number is converted to a string of the form "-d,ddd,ddd.ddddd…".
    PercentThe number is converted to a string that represents a percent.
    ScientificThe number is converted to exponential format, such as "-1.234e+15".
