Spread makes it easy to present, edit, and update your ASP.NET data. Spread can bind to any data source that supports the IList or IListSource interface, including datasets.

Once you have connected to your data, Spread automatically configures the cell types to the appropriate data type and only allows editing for that data type; for example, displaying a checkbox for boolean fields. And it is all done without any extra coding.

Of course you still have full control over the data editing and presentation. Locking cells to prevent them from being edited, hiding columns or rows, or changing the assigned cell type are all things that are easily accomplished.

Once the changes have been submitted, you can easily retrieve the edited values and update your data source if appropriate. All with only a few lines of code.
