## Enhancements from the Previous Release

This version of the product has the following enhancements from the previous release.

* A new [Surface chart](https://developer.mescius.com/spreadnet/docs/latest/online-wpf/spreadwpffeatures/charts/chart-types/specialized-charts/surface-chart) has been introduced, which allows users to plot data on a three-dimensional surface. This is especially useful for analyzing optimal combinations between two data sets.
* Users can now [specify a chart style](https://developer.mescius.com/spreadnet/docs/latest/online-wpf/spreadwpffeatures/charts/chart-styles) while adding a new chart. If no style is applied, a default chart style will be applied.

* Added support for Pie3D lines to enhance data representation.
* Users can now[ customize data labels with different shapes](https://developer.mescius.com/spreadnet/docs/latest/online-wpf/spreadwpffeatures/charts/chart-elements/data-label), including callout data labels, for better clarity and emphasis.
* Users can now configure the [text orientation of display unit labels](https://developer.mescius.com/spreadnet/docs/latest/online-wpf/spreadwpffeatures/charts/chart-elements/axes#display-unit-label), improving readability and layout flexibility.
* Users can now [adjust the thickness of both the back and side walls](https://developer.mescius.com/spreadnet/docs/latest/online-wpf/spreadwpffeatures/charts/chart-elements/walls) of the 3D charts for better customization.
* Spread for WPF now allows you to adjust the perspective angle to make the data presentation have a better three-dimensional view and improve data visualization.
* Sunburst chart now [supports multiple levels](https://developer.mescius.com/spreadnet/docs/latest/online-wpf/spreadwpffeatures/charts/chart-types/specialized-charts/sunburst-charts) to provide a more detailed and hierarchical representation of data.
* Users can now [suspend the calculation of formulas](https://developer.mescius.com/spreadnet/docs/latest/online-wpf/spreadwpffeatures/formulasandfunctions/automatic-recalculation-updates) by using the `CalculationEngine.SuspendCalculation` property.
* Spread for WPF enables shadows and rounded corners on ToolTips in Windows 11 to modernize user experience.
