# Pivot Table Style Options

After creating a pivot table, click on the created pivot table, and you will see the **PivotTable Style Options** located on the **Design** tab. Check or uncheck the pivot table style options as needed.

| Option | Description |
| ------ | ----------- |
| Row Headers | Toggles formatting for the row header area to differentiate group labels from data cells. |
| Column Headers | Toggles formatting for the column header area to distinguish field names and groupings. |
| Banded Rows | Applies alternating row shading to enhance row separation and visual clarity in large datasets. |
| Banded Columns | Applies alternating column shading to make columns easier to distinguish, especially in wide tables. |
