This table summarizes how the workbook settings are handled when Spread imports data from an Excel-formatted file.

| **Setting** | **How Import is Handled** |
| ------- | --------------------- |
| Graphs or charts | Graphs or charts in Excel files are imported into Spread. |
| Indented text | Spread imports text and displays it at the usual alignment (not indented). |
| Name | Spread imports custom names to every sheet, not to the entire workbook. |
| Password-protected files | Spread can open password-protected files (specify the password when importing the file). |
| Shapes | Some shapes in Excel files are imported into Spread (shapes that are supported by Spread). |
| Text shrunken to fit cell | Spread imports text and displays it at size specified by the FontSize or Font property. |
