# Licensing a Trial Project after Installation

This topic explain the steps involved in licensing the ASP.NET projects made with the trial version.

To license ASP.NET projects made with the trial version do the following:

1.  Ensure that Spread is licensed on the machine by following the installation steps in the [Read Me](https://developer.mescius.com/spreadnet/docs/latest/readme/readme.html).
2.  Open the project in Microsoft Visual Studio.
3.  Open the Visual Studio **Build** menu and select **Rebuild Solution**.
4.  The web application is now licensed and no evaluation banners appear when you run it. You can distribute the Web application to unlicensed machines and no evaluation banners appear.

For licensing Web Site applications, open the Visual Studio **Build** menu and select **Build Runtime Licenses** to create the App\_Licenses.dll file.
