a user can still select and copy text.
If the GrapeCity.Windows.InputMan.Primitives.EditBase.IsReadOnlyCaretVisible property is also set to <a href="https://learn.microsoft.com/dotnet/csharp/language-reference/builtin-types/bool">true</a>,
a caret will appear in the editor control when the editor control has keyboard focus.
When GrapeCity.Windows.InputMan.Primitives.EditBase.IsReadOnly is <a href="https://learn.microsoft.com/dotnet/csharp/language-reference/builtin-types/bool">false</a>,
the GrapeCity.Windows.InputMan.Primitives.EditBase.IsReadOnlyCaretVisible property has no effect.</p>
