This function returns the number (code) corresponding to first character of specified text.

## Syntax

`UNICODE(value)`

## Arguments

[Required] For the argument, specify a text value to obtain the Unicode value.

## Remarks

If the passed arguments contain an invalid data type, this function will return an error.

## Examples

`UNICODE("D")` gives the result 68
`UNICODE("tor")` gives the result 116
