# T.TEST

## Content

This function returns the probability associated with a t-test.

## Syntax

`T.TEST(array1, array2, tails, type)`

## Arguments

This function has these arguments:

| Argument | Description |
| -------- | ----------- |
| *array1* | [Required] Array of values in first data set |
| *array2* | [Required] Array of values in second data set |
| *tails* | [Required] Number of tails |
| *type* | [Required] Type of t-test to perform (1, 2, or 3) |

## Remarks

The *tails* and *type* arguments are truncated to integers. The #VALUE! error value is returned if *tails* or *type* is non-numeric.

## Examples

`T.TEST(A1:A17,B1:B17,4,3)`
`T.TEST({2,2,2,3,4},{2,3,3,4,5},1,2)`
