# ASINH

## Content

This function calculates the inverse hyperbolic sine of a number.

## Syntax

`ASINH(value)`

## Arguments

[Required] For the argument, you can specify any real number.

## Remarks

This function is the inverse of the hyperbolic sine, so `ASINH(SINH(n))` gives the result *n*.

## Examples

`ASINH(E4)`
`ASINH(R4C5)`
`ASINH(-5.5)` gives the result -2.40606
`ASINH(100)` gives the result 5.2983423656
