# AND

This function calculates logical AND.

## Syntax

`AND(logical1, [logical2], ...)`

## Arguments

| *Logical1* | [Required] The first condition that you want to test that can evaluate to either TRUE or FALSE. |
| *Logical2, ...* | [Optional] Additional conditions that you want to test that can evaluate to either TRUE or FALSE, up to a maximum of 255 conditions. |

## Remarks

This function returns TRUE if all its arguments are true; otherwise, returns FALSE if at least one argument is false.

## Examples

`AND(D12,E12)`
`AND(R12C42,R12C5,R12C1)`
`AND(D2:D12)`
`AND(R12C1:R12C9)`
`AND(true,true,true)` gives the result TRUE
`AND(TRUE(),FALSE())` gives the result FALSE
`AND(5+3=8,5+1=6)` gives the result TRUE
