The following topics explain how to configure elements of **Scheduler for WinForms**' display, such as Visual Styles, color schemes, headers, borders, and date formats:

### Calendar Visual Style Settings

Appearance settings for the [C1Calendar](/componentone/docs/win/online-schedule/) control, including the Visual Style, can be set through the **Visual Style** dialog box of the [C1Calendar Smart Designer](/componentone/docs/win/online-schedule/concepts/scheduer-views/designtimesupport/schedulerforwinforms5/c1calendarsmartdesig). In the **Visual Style** dialog box, you can set properties for the entire C1Calendar control, headers, days, and selected days.

### Schedule Visual Style Settings

Appearance settings for the [C1Schedule](/componentone/docs/win/online-schedule/) control, including the Visual Style, can be set through the **Visual Style** dialog box of the [C1Schedule Smart Designer](/componentone/docs/win/online-schedule/concepts/scheduer-views/designtimesupport/schedulerforwinforms5/c1schedulesmartdesig). ### Formatting the Border Style

Formatting the border style allows you to customize the appearance of the Scheduler for WinForms controls. The border style can be set for both the Schedule and the Calendar controls.
