## Content

The **ComponentOne Calendar** provides two feature-complete, lightweight controls, **CalendarView** and **DateEdit**. The [CalendarView](/componentone/docs/win/online-calendar/calendarview-overview) control provides an intuitive user interface to display a calendar in any desktop application. Be it business appointments, project deadlines or bill payments, the CalendarView lets you display features like multi-month view, customized dates culture settings, styling, appearance settings etc. The [DateEdit](/componentone/docs/win/online-calendar/dateedit-overview) control extends the existing CalendarView control, and combines a text editor, button and dropdown form. Upon clicking, the DateEdit control drops down a calendar form for the user to select dates, and pre-validate, post-validate or parse dates. Both the controls comprise smart designers to achieve interactive CalendarView and DateEdit with just limited lines of codes.
