Version 4.0 is used by the latest services, but there are many legacy services still in operation. If you know what version of OData your service implements, set the <a class="xref" href="C1.Web.Mvc.Fluent.BaseODataCollectionViewServiceBuilder-3.ODataVersion.html#C1_Web_Mvc_Fluent_BaseODataCollectionViewServiceBuilder_3_ODataVersion_System_Nullable_System_Double__">ODataVersion(double?)</a> property to the appropriate value (1 through 4) when creating it.</p>
