# Programmatic Queries

This is an overview topic that explains what query types you can configure for the File data source.

Once you [selected](/activereportsnet/docs/v20.1/report-authors/using-report-wizard/configuring-data-source/programmatic-data-source) the assembly containing the data classes, the **Choose Data Classes To Use** will display the list of public classes from this assembly. You can choose one or more item from this list:

Click **Finish >>** to create a report with data binding configured, or click **Next >** to add a [data display control](/activereportsnet/docs/v20.1/report-authors/using-report-wizard/configuring-report-controls).
